It is a mystery,
When I am in a dark room
The sound of a Koel can make me jump
For when I am in the dark
An unpleasant thought
Fills my mind.
It is the feeling of an unborn infant,
Living so far in a dark Abode,
Comes out crying into a flashing world,
Gazing in awe,
And fear of light,
For it has yet to learn languages;
So powerful is light!
It knows not a word
For ages and ages to come;
Still with all the discoveries and capabilities Of mankind,
With all its words of Truth,
We still don’t admit that we are afraid of the dark…
