It is petrol, don't play with it

The Govt of India has begun to take  away the last minimal control over the petroleum products it had by removing the governmental control over the petrol. What has followed is a hike in the prices of petroleum products. Immediately after the prices of the petroleum products went high, the prices of the essentials have risen up; in Kerala the price of rice has gone up by two rupees per kilogram. And rice is the staple food of Keralites although they don’t cultivate much of it. On the promise of the central government of the yonder days, keralites cultivated cash crops, filled in their paddy fields with red soil, and planted rubber or coconut trees. They were dreaming of a real federal republic compensating food to cash croppers finance to corn croppers.
 
But all dreams have shattered after the great linguist politician Narasimha Rao took over as Prime Minister in 1991. He appointed a new Finance minister for the Republic of India. The new Finance Minister was all set to break all promises to the federating states. Remember he can speak beautifully about centre-state relations, about eradication of poverty from the beloved land with a continuous history. And this wonderland of history and self-respect has perpetually been reduced to a position of servitude by the then Finance Minister and his sinister party, which is an old ghost of preindependence days. The three witches in Macbeth joined together to drown our self-respect in the pacific and the Atlantic where the new Master United States of America which has barely no history of culture and civilization except that of robbing and killing.
 
And on its diktat, measures after measures were taken and these measures are meant to neocolonialism Indian system. The global strategy of the United States is well scoring victories after victories in S. E. Asia through a couple of rulers in India and Pakistan. Pakistan has even chosen to sell its vast deserts of Cholistan to Saudi Arabia. SE Asia is continually destabilized by policies, murders and anti-people measures.
 
We do not delve very much into details. Now at last it is petrol. The first UPA govt hesitated to be submissive because it was surviving with the support of the Left. Remember, once it had even reduced the petroleum prices it had increased. Then came the nuclear agreement, which is not pricking the pro-imperialist govt of India. It remains an incrackable coconut.
 
The second UPA govt could do anything and everything at the cost of national sentiments and ethics. It could dig up slogans of women’s reservation and the like for the sake of their continuing in power. They may ally with Shibu Soren and then sack him to wilderness. They may try to appease Mayavati or Mulayam Singh to get a few votes in Parliament. Even Alagiris are made ministers. Under US aegis, they go on speaking with Pakistan who is solely responsible for the serial blasts in Indian cities. But if you are a man/woman with faith in the possibility of Congress coming back its credentials under anyone; you are mistaken. It is the Mafioso that roost the rule; it may be from Sicily or from USA.
 
And finally they have turned to petroleum products. It is petrol; don’t play with it, it is highly inflammable.
