Will You Talk To Me?
Rati Saxena

Will You Talk To Me?

Will you talk to me
as before
removing the stone from the grave
wearing the flesh as you wear bangles?
Will you talk to me?
as before, He asked

" how"
I replied
" you talk about flesh
my bones changed in to powder
tongue fell down
like leaf in the noontime
the sound has flown away in the sky

" talk
every thing will come again
flesh, bones and tongue
and sound too"

I made my tongue
with roots of tree
teeth with leaves
caught the eco from valley
the sea wave changed in to body
look
I am ready
to talk

hey, where are you now?

(two)

With Me

This time again it happens
They cut me with knife
Like water melon
Cut in two, than again two
I am bleeding with juice

I thought
No problem
Wind is there,
With sun with me
Moon is there,
With banyan with me
Whole sky is with me
With a feather of bird

My juice is dried up
Of body
Than heart

On the earth
I started decaying
Earthworm was also there
Where I fall
" Every one has to make his place
By cutting the hardness without teeth"

I did not thank the earthworm
As I knew
he IS with me.

(Three)

Hugging

Only man knows
How to hug
Without touching beaks
Without hurting claws
Like animals
Like bird

But only man
Becomes careful
While hugging even
As every time he feared
Knife on the back
