Michael H. Brill lives in New Jersey, in the U.S., and is a scientist studying perception and especially color vision. He received his BA from Case Western Reserve University and his MS and PhD from Syracuse U. As an undergraduate he majored in English and Physics. He began practicing Buddhism in 1973, resumed writing poetry in 1997, and since then his poetry has been published online and in various periodicals.
