Platonic love

Abbas Panakkal

    Hands
    departed me
    denoting
    dislikes to hug.

    Tongue
    returned to me
    to revenge
    my tastes.

    Ears
    heard the last
    reproach
    of my passion

    Eyes
    flew away,
    veiling unfair me.

    Legs
    walked out,
    cursing pithy me.

    Intact heartbeats
    contained only
    two notes:
    me n’ mine
