I
never wanted to be anything
But a poet and a journalist freelance.
Circumstances led me to become
A teacher, not bad, I thought.
I am a mother-born politician;
The moment I opened my eyes
My father used to say:
“You had a fist closed,
And you were shouting loudly
Your initial slogans”
Getting older,
I found a poet in me.
I also found poetry gives me a painful pleasure.
Oh, this is almost like an obituary!
