Poetry is in My Life

Fide Erken

    Beautiful Morning
     I fed the little fish
    hungry it was,
ran out of the water seeing me
    Pelin woke up shouting
Now she is full and happy
Zeynep opened her cartoon as soon as she got up
the harmonic sound of the washing machine is heard...
the sun sends its lights slowly and kindly
good morning, beautiful day you hugged everybody

When I wrote this poem my small daughter was 1 and the elder was 9.They are 6 years older now.Time runs and I try to go after...
Poems facilitates the life in my opinion. They help me getting used to difficulties, expressing my emotions and relaxing me.They make friendship in lonely moments especially when I come from school and nobody at home.My husband and daughters come home in the evening.I have a free time to rest,to do housework, cooking and luckily write poems till their arrival.
I sometimes meet my inspiration during the lesson.I wrote some of my poems in the classroom.Of course I do it when I let the students do something and have time for myself for a few moments.Poems doesn't take much time. They come and are written in a few minutes. It's not possible to understand when they will come. They make surprises..
The best time for me to feel and write is when I'm in nature. These moments are when we are near the sea on our summer holidays or spend our time in Botany Park of our city.
I believe that nature is a part of us like other living creatures. It speaks silently and relaxes our souls. The sounds in nature rest our ears. For example, the sea. What a lot of water it carries. All of them collides to the beach and  but we get very pleased to listen to their sound.I think this is one of the nature's miracles.
I don't want to have an empty life and die.Poetry gives me a chance to make my moments full.I love people,I love nature and animals. If I can make any contribution to the peace in our World,I'll be happy!
