Homage to martyrs and a few lessons

(One)

This evening , when I begin to write this, clouds remain crimson, with a streak of black and grey, reminding us of the flames and smoke, that haunted our nation during the final days of the beautiful snowy November in the metropolis of Mumbai, the cute, dear city of Indians here abroad.
This is 6Th December, the day that spread insult on our nation, too, with the debris of an old structure heaped beyond repair, by the so-called worthy patriots from within our own country.
This is the day on which one of the founders of the secular republic dies, Dr. Ambedkar.

We stood shocked for moment, and only for a moment; we remained silent for a moment , and only for a moment, incapable to speak or act. When Ambedkar died, some of us lamented, some others took it as a salvation from a nuisance, because for them the man who was the main architect of the constitution always said about the dalits and their salvation.
When the medieval architecture of the Babri Masjid was left to shambles, we stood introspecting; we asked all to introspect and get an answer.
But in Mumbai, our brave soldiers, as ever, defended the city, the land, the nation and the people.

So friends, we dedicate this evening to our great martyrs that laid down their lives for the nation, with no greed or mood, with the sole thought of protecting the soul of the nation.
India is a wonderful country, facing attacks with calm, and getting out of the menace always; India was evolved as a result of a long drawn out freedom struggle extending over two centuries. On the 15th of August were born two nations, bleeding, one remaining secular and democratic, the other born and remaining on the foundations of religion. The struggle was broken, the dream was shattered. Still I with all humility must say that the terrorists who wreak menace on Mumbai must have realized before hand that they would not win a battle within India. There was a time when Washington was taken by the enemies of the USA. Even that was not possible to the terrorists. They came desperately as mercenaries. And a lot is going to be heard of them in future.

The Prime Minister of India has great consistency. He has remained, he remains, and he will remain a sincere friend of the United States of America. Whatever be the odds against our country, he is consistent in this particular matter, let alone other things. The calamity at Mumbai seemed to convince him that he is wrong, the recession seemed to teach him that he is wrong, but, no, he is a consistent person, not because he thinks that consistency is a political quality, not because he is indifferent to national problems. He thinks sincerely that his stance would salvage India. Yeah, it is neither his consistency nor hias scrupulousness that is to blame, but the class attitude that is to blame.

Let us see: after the terrible crisis began to show its ugly teeth in the open, even the Prime Minister of India for a time was forced to admit that it is due to globalization; but the very next moment he clarified that this should have been foreseen; it is globalization process that has suffered due to lack of foresight, neither nations nor peoples. What a grand generosity, I would not say deliberately that it is grand slavery. He has found out the reason behind the financial crisis. He knew, he declares, the globalizations would have effects like this, but men and women the world over should have foreseen this; as they did not do so, globalization has begun to face some setback.
Globalization and liberalization made everything in life and politics and economics a private affair, armaments are made privately, arsenals are created privately, even film actors could buy guns and keep it under their beds to mollify their fear of being attacked. The bloody fools do not know that it is not cinema, and a weapon under the bed is a weapon for the thief or terrorist whoever that may be. These things, licentious as they are, need not have license from the authorities, because it is the laissez-faire of the globalization period, no normal govt has any right to drill into the private affair of the poor capitalists, and carpet baggers, that is no govt has the right to interfere in economic production, distribution and circulation. So, carpet baggers would producer armaments, and there are sufficient buyers, like the ones sponsored by the United States. Georgia would and could but them if it is in the interests of the United States; Chechnians could and would buy them for the same reason. Likewise all terrorist groups of the world are a creation of the United States which deserted these groups as and when the interests of the hegemonic powers was served.

So, ships are ready for sale, just go and buy them; or ask a Somalian band to pirate one of them; armaments ready for sale in the market, RDX is ready in the market, explosives are ready, AK 47 original or duplicate is ready( if you want the duplicate of any product, the real brand company is ready to produce duplicates also); just go and buy. Then go to the indicated targets or taught up destinations, fill in your minds all virulence the world, hit at them with all venom of your mind, and kill as many people as possible. Well, India is the place of Gandhi whom Indians worshipfully call Mahatma, go to the place he was born in, Porbandar, a harbor, then ransack the running vehicles, from what ever hideout you can choose, and then again go to the economic capital of India. When the NDA was ruling India was shining, of course in the lustrous history of getting hostages released compensated by the release terrorists including Masuds and such other persons. And now, when the UPA is ruling, cities after cities are destroyed, terrorists unleash their hits on cities and parliament, the outer lands and hinterlands of India. On the one side goons destroy houses of worship and go scot-free in the name of nationalism and national politics. On the other side, terrorists come from the back and hit at us. And the people are always assured by the Prime Minister that they would be protected.
See what happened: people in coats and suits and with lumps of money and bunches of credit cards can get admitted everywhere. They are well-off, they are worthies. The rich and wealthy have entry into any parlour or any hotel. Suppose, even after warning from sleuths, an ordinary citizen had crossed any wire or violated any rule, he would certainly behind the bars. Where is Ratan Tata now? He has admitted to the media that sufficient caution was given to his establishment by the sleuths, his hotel had observed utmost care, but they had broken of the strictures immediately before the attack. Why did this gentleman and his hotel revoke the restrictions? On what ground? When Benazir Bhutto was assassinated, we in these columns had stated that she was killed at the instigation of the United States of America. After Smt. Gandhi of India, she was the most influential politician in the bourgeois democracy of Asia. It was not an insinuation, we were convinced by lessons from history that it was the United States of America. The work was done clean and neat, and who else but the US imperialists and its espionage could perform these crimes with such perfection as this? The whole Bhutto family was wiped off from the face of the earth, now Pakistan is in the hands of a chocolate boy who can be used by the imperialists in any way they liked.
Likewise , we are perfectly sure that the beneficiaries of this terrorist attack on Mumbai are the imperialists. In the back of the back of the back of what happened in Mumbai, the imperialist hands can be seen, although in the peripheries they are invisible and they can act angels Condalissa Rice putting orders to Pakistan to do this, to do as if she were in a restaurant ordering menu. After Manmohan Singh and George Bush signed the 123 agreement much to the chagrin of the people of India, several incidents at the national and international levels showed that water was flowing against the duo. The capitalist countries are all now in the throngs of a terrible financial crisis. The word they use for this recession, which translated to local tongues would mean some slow movement whereby people are betrayed by the romantic tone of the word. So, US and its henchmen want to resolve this issue by hook or by crook. Iraq yielded very little, only a few barrels of Petrol; the price of Petrol is dwindling. Now they have turned to India to see what they would attain here. Any experiment is worth to the present rulers of the US since there is a change of govt in January 2009. And the cunning Mr. Bush could entangle Barak Obama in a knot in India.

George Bush was recently sermonizing that he had no intentions of war when he came to power. We are asked to believe that in spite of the credentials of his family under his father who waged the first US- Iraq war. The father and the son together killed thousands of US young men in Iraq; why did they have to die on the soil of Iraq? Iraqis die because they wanted to defend their land. Let us ask the same question about the Mumbai attacks. Why did these young men die in India in stead of Pakistan , if at all Pakistan is their place? When Benazir died we said it was a US work because we were convinced that by the crime Asia could be destabilized, at least the perpetrators of the crime thought so. Whether they won or not can be said only by history, but they are trying to win the cause by unleashing an attack on Mumbai, utilizing the services and lives of mercenaries. Our pundits of terrorism may remember that the world is being taken to the olden days of mercenaries. And although Mr. Sardari is the widower of Benazir, he is the most suitable accomplice of the US in Pakistan. How cleanly were the Bhutto family got rid of?
Yeah, I am convinced that it is a US work perpetrated through Pakistan. These works would continue. US would not choose to opt out once they fail; they would go ahead with their unethical plans until the plan itself perishes; lessons from Vietnam to Iraq prove this.

The only way for us Indians is to stand united against terrorism and imperialism. We are facing a rather more dangerous peril of being apoliticised. Young men and women are coached by the media to think that it is the lapses on the part of the political leadership that culminated into the Mumbai attacks. May be some loopholes might have occurred. Even the statement of the Defense Minister that the India army would ultimately win was a statement irrational and out of place because the dozens of terrorists would certainly have not believed that they would ultimately triumph. They were mercenaries and were determined to die for what they got or learnt.
It was a lapse in the military system that led to the penetration of the terrorists through the naval borders. Perhaps the financial implications of the purchases would have led to poor weapons. But there was no complaint to the effect. ON the other way round, it is the existence of a powerful democracy and political system that retains India as it is, a wonderful land which withstands any onslaught on it.

(Four)

There is ample talk on a war with Pakistan. It is not a thing either the people of India or of Pakistan desire. They wish to live in amity and peace. War will endanger our soil and people to put them more exposed to terrorism and impoverishment. We know USA is facing the present crisis due to the many unwanted wars it fought in places least expected. War is desired by imperialists, weapon industries and fascists. They survive on war. People survive on peace. Peace is the precondition for progress. We have fought wars; we do not what we achieved out of those wars. War hawks of the US are eager to create a war between India and Pakistan. We have our self respect and let us allow Pakistan have its own self respect. So far, there is no evidence to incriminate the people and govt of Pakistan in the Mumbai atrocity. Peace is not a necessity, it is a must, it is with peace alone that India can thrive. The tall claims of an inefficient Defense Minister should not drag us to a war. He was saying that the Indian forces would win in Mumbai incident; anyone would know it; any would know also that India would win any war with Pakistan. But remember those words from the ancient times: in war there is no victory; all are vanquished in war. The terrible slaughter and the unnumbered wounded in any battle would suffice to show the sufferings on both sides in any war. Any penny spent on war would be spent on destruction; there is no logic in saying that any war is f peace. In order to achieve peace, we must pursue the path of peace. Vainglorious claims would not take any country anywhere. Where is US now? US are now in total turmoil. Like Manthara of Ramayana, US are instigating India to attack Pakistan. It will be suitable occasion for them to interfere in Asia once again. We should not succumb to US pressure; once a ruler of Asia succumbed to US pressure and attacked Iran; then the lie machines of the US again instigated Saddam Hussein about funneling of Iraqi oil mines by Kuwait; we know where Saddam is now. He may be called a martyr or what not. But history treated him cruelly, not without reason and not with the reason the US said. History was avenging him. We created a Bangla Desh to create one more enemy as our neighbor. War to a normal person is the most abnormal circumstance. Fascist clamour for war is only understandable because flies can flourish only on dirt.
We hope India would not pursue the path of killing; India is to teach the world that peace is a more powerful weapon than war.
The youth of the nation should be taught this lesson on a war footing.
Let us once again pay homage to the martyrs that laid their lives in defense of India.
