This is five year old Arya from Manjakkulam, Meppayoor.

She is ailing from Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.

She is administered Chemotherapeutic drugs at Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum under Dr. Kusuma Kumary( Reg. No. 8964), Additional Professor and HOD of Pediatric oncology. The Doctor advises transplantation of Arya’s marrow for a permanent cure of her disease.

It is a very expensive treatment that can be done at Vellore Medical College. Its hospital expenses are estimated to be a minimum of Eight lakhs rupees. The local public has organized Arya Medical Treatment Aid Fund(AMTAF)to help Arya’s treatment with Sri N. M. Kunhikannan as President and Sri. V. Sathyan as Secretary. Therefore the Committee has appeals to the philanthropic impulses of men and women to help her survive by undergoing the Marrow transplantation treatment.
