With a perfect blend of structure and style
The Eternal Sculptor
Took care and pain
To chisel her out
No one could miss her eyes of angels
Nose of cupid beauty
Fairest of the fair
Height and weight
Measuring to perfection;
She is unique, an angel, a damsel celestial
The Sculptor wished to be on earth
“Will age wither
Or custom stale her infinite variety?”
Oh ! is it a dream, a hallucination?
I wish to remain in this illusion
With her screened in my mind
