Is the poem goddess or whore?
Certainly the poem can disclose the goddess
within the whore...
Poetry captures in words passing wisps of magic.
Yet there are those who have never written a poem.
Whose lives are the poem.
Paper too gross a substance to capture their lines -
if we could freeze the flight of a passing bird
we may see some trace of their poem hidden there.
